The better service levels and cost-savings have made business process outsourcing (BPO) one of the fastest-growing business practices. The greatest challenge of BPO is of control. Managers are accustomed to having direct control over the resources to deliver the results for which they are accountable. With BPO, these controls are in the hands of the provider. How the control issue is handled can mean the difference between adequate results and high performing outsourcing that delivers beyond expectations. This paper explores how control modes are implemented during business process outsourcing relationships and investigates why stakeholders implement particular combinations of control modes.

This study is based on Data Envelopment Analysis to analyze the performance of semiconductor product manufacturing Indian IT companies. The study will explore the patent related activities and variables of randomly selected 32 semiconductor product manufacturing companies in India. These companies have their respective Research and Development Centres in India. It is a highly volatile industry and hence, it is very important for every semiconductor company to perform to stay in competition. The findings suggest that as per input-oriented DEA with VRS (Variable Return to Scale) assumption, most of the semiconductor companies are not utilizing their input resources efficiently and to follow the benchmark companies.Keywords

Twenty female buffalo heifers of 12-15 months age were selected from the buffalo herd maintained by Buffalo Research Centre, Department of Livestock Production and Management, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, LALA-LAJPAT RAI University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Hisar (LUVAS). The animals were divided into four groups of 5 each on the basis of their nearness to their body weight and age. The experiment was conducted for a period of 120 days ( Ist February to 31st May ) to compare the effect of two housing systems and two feeding systems were : T1: Conventional barn + Seasonal green fodder and concentrate mixture , T2: Conventional barn + Hay and concentrate mixture, T3: Loose housing + Seasonal green fodder and concentrate mixture, T4: Loose housing + Hay and concentrate mixture. Body weight was significantly affected by the housing systems but not by the treatments and feeding systems as there was significant difference in daily weight gains between housing systems, but not between systems of feeding. Body measurements were not affected by all the treatments, housing and feeding systems. With in the limit of the present experiment it can be concluded that loose housing system with hay feeding as per NRC recommendation was better and more comfortable for young growing heifers because they had better growth as compared to the heifers those were kept in conventional barn under green fodder feeding.Keywords

The animals were divided into four groups of 5 each on the basis of their nearness to their body weight and age. The experiment was conducted for a period of 120 days ( Ist February to 31st May ) to compare the effect of two housing systems and two feeding systems were: T1 : Conventional barn + Seasonal green fodder and concentrate mixture; T2 : Conventional barn + Hay and concentrate mixture; T3 : Loose housing + Seasonal green fodder and concentrate mixture and T4 : Loose housing + Hay and concentrate mixture. There was a significant (p<0.05) difference in evening maximum temperature between two housing systems as the maximum temperature in evening was significantly higher in loose house as compared to conventional barn, which was the main affecting factor for the Thermo-neutral or Comfort zone and ultimately affecting the Microclimate/Micro-environment of the heifers to reflect/express their optimum performance. Morning and evening THI values were non-significant between the two housing systems.Keywords

Requirements elicitation is the way toward looking for, revealing, getting, and describing requirements for computer-based systems. Requirements elicitation is a complex procedure, including various exercises with a collection of available systems, methodologies, and instruments for completing them. The paper introduces a thorough study of the essential parts of the strategies, methodologies, and instruments for requirements elicitation, and inspects the ebb and flow issues, patterns, and difficulties looked by analysts and professionals in this field.ART SCENE is a tool-supported contextual method for requirements elicitation and is created to gather requirements in a more detailed, complete and efficient way. It uses important aspects of other requirements elicitation techniques like contextual inquiry and scenario-based techniques.
